Narrator of Game Design Checklist:

Part 1:

The overall Character design needs to be all of the following:

- Unique

- Cute

- Simple

- Clean

- Memorable

- Collectable (meaning people would want to see it on clothes, toys, etc...)

- Memorable

- Diverse (meaning everyone can relate)

- Transformable

- There will be different ones (at least 6), one for each team
- At the end, there will be dozens more showing that it is a world.

Three options:
1) Each has the same features but different colors (like Ewoks)
2) Each has unique features and the same colors (like Minions)
3) Same shape but, different colors and symbols (like Care Bears)

Part 2:

Each of these famous groups of characters have the same things in common. They all use the same personality tropes.

  • -  Leader one

  • -  Brave one

  • -  Smart one

  • -  Shy one

  • -  Scared one

  • -  Dumb one

  • -  Surprising one (who uses their talent when least expected)

  • -  Strange one

    - Etc...

Take the main version character (standard height, shape, and look).

Manipulate it to make new characters, just by changing the body shape.

    Roles in the Story:

    • -  Leader is the mentor that does most of the talking/interacting.

    • -  Smart (girl) does the next most

    • -  Dumb is there for jokes

    • -  Brave puts the players in risky situations

    • -  Shy has some comic relief as well but is mainly there to be cute. (awwww moments)

    • -  Surprising is the strongest of all but seems scared and weak most the time.

    Part 3:

The Narrator will be cute, minimal design, futuristic looking (alien or robot), clean. It should appeal to: Men, Women, Adults, and Children.

It should be able to: Fly, Float, and can be connected to the Vehicle, and look like it belongs in the Mira world.

The narrator's voice/actions will be cute, funny, and informative.

There will be one character assigned to each group of people, but they will change “groups” through out the experience so that one character is not linked to only one team.

They will provide the heart, comedy, and connectivity to the world for the audience.

Cute simple face. No mouth. (like Baymax)

Their emotions will be described through their eyes.

    Example:

    Part 4:

There can be hundreds or thousands of these creatures. But, we will only introduce the player to 6 of them to start.

4 will be the main talking ones, and two others will come out of their shells later. Their coloring and a unique symbol on their chest is how you tell them apart.

In a future narrative they could all come together to form a giant version of themselves to fight a “Galactus” type threat.

    Examples:

    Looks Modify:

We don’t just modify their shapes (like previously mentioned) we add a bit of unique color to them as well. Reminder that these can and should be merchandise as well.

    • -  Leader – Light Blue

    • -  Smart – Yellow

    • -  Dumb - Dark Green

    • -  Brave – Red

    • -  Shy – Pink

    • -  Surprising – Light Purple

Other colors: Purple, White, Black, Brown, Gold, Silver, Bronze, etc...
