Disney Epic Quest - Trailer
Note: My script. Not my illustrations or animation.
PART ONE: 15 seconds long
Introduces the main characters, and shows the game's reward hunting aspect and a team's RPG elements. Also shows that we’ll be using a variety of Disney IPs and themes (jungle, digital Monkeys, heroes, and villains).
ACTION 1:
Location: Tropical Jungle. There is an old shipwreck in the background, full of bananas. A digital Jack Sparrow forms out of pixelation. He does a quick dust-off and smiles.
ACTION 2
Cut to what Jack Sparrow sees, and it’s a floating Cryption Key (Level Medallion) on a platform (3 or 4 steps high) approximately 20 away. Instantly two digital Monkeys appear about 10 feet in front of him.
WRECK-IT-RALPH pixels in from the sky and lands on one of the digital Monkeys using his superhero landing, and the monkey pixelates away. The other Monkey turns to look at him and charges up his weapons.
ACTION 4
Just then, the other Digital Monkeys get hit with a fire spell and pixelate away. We see Mickey standing there, the camera zooms in on him from afar, and then he is shocked by what he sees and does a staff spin and readies it for another blast.
PART TWO: 15 seconds long
Showcases the grand boss battles, and the strategy required to beat them by using all your characters in unique ways. A bonus is we also show Co-op gameplay which is a feature of the game.
ACTION 5
Cut to a large Boss (Little Yama) who is in front of the floating Cryption Key now, and is walking towards us.
Wreck-It-Ralph, Mickey Mouse, and Jack Sparrow battle Little Yama.
Ralph punches Little Yama who counters the attack with his left arm claw.
Mickey runs in and throws a fireball at Little Yama, who blocks it with his right arm shield.
Jack pulls out his sword, looks at it, looks at Little Yama, puts his sword away, and sneakily walks off toward the Floating Cryption Key.
Little Yama knocks down Ralph, and Mickey uses his Shield Spell to protect Ralph, as the smoke clears Ralph and Mickey deliver the final blow.
*Important: Jack needs to be shown walking towards the Cryption Key, away from Mickey and Ralph.
PART THREE: 6 seconds long
Showcases that you need to choose your teams wisely, and adds a humor element to the trailer.
ACTION 7
Cut to the Cryption Key and Jack is about to take it. Jack has a big grin on his face and just as he touches it, it pixels away.
Jack is disappointed and Mickey pats him on the back. Ralph, Mickey, and Jack start walking away from us, and all Pixel away.
Outro: 1- 3 seconds
